How The Website Started
With the closing of the Old Aquarius Ballroom in Hednesford due to redevelopment of the area I decided to have a go at a very basic website consisting of just one page, so that all the dancers could keep in touch, and keep everyone informed of where our local dances would be so that we might all meet up and stay in touch.
The website was free to use for many years and there was no charge to advertise on it, obviously times change and over the past few years I have had to charge to cover website costs.
my time how ever is and will always be free.
The old Aquarius had dances most Saturdays with different hosts, Colin & Rita Corbett, Heather Roberts, Umbrella Man, David & Sylvia Webster, & Graham Darby just to name the regulars.
The New Aquarius is situated just a couple of hundred yards from the site of the old Aquarius, and is equipped with all modern amenities a superb dance floor, bar, a lift, and ample free parking.
